Homemade baby shower banner adds on your customization and usually you can make more than it would cost to buy a custom banner.
First, you need to get your supplies. Understand what you want the banner to say a few colors, and then you'll know how much paper you need.
Paper
Scrapbook Paper workbook snippets (optional-if you want to format or a template instead of the standard card paper)
Single hole puncher
Ribbon
Numeric-stick glue
After you decide what you want the banner to say, you need to make the letters on the card stock (color you choose). You can use letter stencils to trace the letters in Bristol, or if you have a printer you can print them straight to Bristol. I printed my letter, they have maslt free printable alphabet stencils.
Cut the letters.
Then, decide which shape you want to wear the letters. I did my's circles, but can also do the shape of a square or triangular too. Make the template all you like, make sure the size is larger than the letters. Make enough for each letter. Paste your letters paper (a stick of glue working fine).
Now, you can leave the banner in this way, or add another layer. Add another layer, give it a little more color and appearance. Make circles (or any other form) larger than others. Attach with glue.
Use a hole puncher, hole on each side.
Tie the pieces together with the Ribbon and make a bow.
Tie Ribbon loop on each end of the banner is to make it easier to hang on the wall.
Can also make the holes to the top of each piece and feed only one long piece of Ribbon or string between all the parts. I wanted to make this announcement a little more girly cute so I tied in between each piece.
